Use \keystroke{Alt+Tab} to select the window you wish to work with. Hold down the \keystroke{Alt} key, and keep pressing \keystroke{Tab} until the window you're looking for appears highlighted in the pop-up window. Then, release the \keystroke{Alt} key, and the application highlighted in the pop-up will move to the foreground of your desktop.
