When you insert an audio \acronym{CD} in the computer, Ubuntu should open the \window{You have just inserted an Audio \acronym{CD}. Choose what application to launch.} window. Make sure that \dropdown{Rhythmbox} is chosen in the drop-down list and then click \button{OK}. The \window{Rhythmbox} window will open. You can also choose to always perform the action you just specified when another Video \acronym{DVD} is inserted.

Begin by inserting a \acronym{CD}. Rhythmbox will automatically detect it and add it to the side menu. If you have an active Internet connection, Rhythmbox will try to find the album details via the web. Click the \acronym{CD}. Uncheck any tracks you don't want imported. Press the \button{Extract} button, located at the \emph{upper-left} corner of the right panel. Rhythmbox will begin importing the \acronym{CD}. As it finishes each track, it will appear in your Music Library.
