\application{Shotwell Photo Manager} makes finding photos of the same type easier by using \emph{tags}. You can apply as many tags to a photo as you like. To apply tags to photos, first select the photos. Then right-click on the photos and select \menu{Add Tags}. Enter the tags you want into the text field, separated by commas. If you are adding new tags, these will appear in the side bar on the right under the \menu{Tags} label.

Click \button{Crop} to change the framing of the photo. The image will darken and a selection will appear. Adjust the selection to your desired crop by dragging a corner or side. If you want to choose a specific aspect ratio, use the drop-down menu to select one of the preset ratios or enter your own custom ratio. A pivot button is provided to change your selection from landscape to portrait and vice versa. Once you are happy with the selection, click \button{OK} to apply the crop or \button{Cancel} to discard it.
