Begin by inserting a \acronym{CD}. Rhythmbox will automatically detect it and add it to the side menu. If you have an active Internet connection, Rhythmbox will try to find the album details via the web. Click the \acronym{CD}. Uncheck any tracks you don't want imported. Press the \button{Extract} button, located at the \emph{upper-left} corner of the right panel. Rhythmbox will begin importing the \acronym{CD}. As it finishes each track, it will appear in your Music Library.

\marginnote{Streaming audio stations are ``radio stations'' that broadcast over the Internet. Some of these are real radio stations that also stream over the Internet, and others broadcast only over the Internet.} Rhythmbox is pre-configured to enable you to stream audio from various sources. These include Internet broadcast stations (\menu{Radio} from the Side Pane), \menu{Last.fm} and \menu{Libre.fm}. To listen to an Internet radio station, click on the Radio icon in the \emph{Side Pane} for a list of pre-configured stations. You can filter by genre in the \emph{middle pane}. To add a new radio station, select \button{Add} and enter the radio station \acronym{URL}. \marginnote{You can browse a selected list of radio stations at \url{http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Internet_stations} or you can use your browser to search for ``Internet radio stations.''}
