To access your files from the Ubuntu One Web UI, you can simply download them from your personal cloud. To download a file, click \button{More} shown to the right of the file, as shown in the browser, then click on \button{Download file}, as shown in Figure \ref{ss:U1-webui-fileoptions}. Clicking \button{Download file} will initiate a file download through your browser.

If you make changes to the file or want to add a new file to your personal cloud, simply click the \button{Upload file} button in the upper portion of the page. This will upload the file into the current folder and overwrite any old versions of the file. Once you have uploaded the file, it will be available in your personal cloud, and will sync to your Ubuntu machine's local file system.

You can make a file public on the web by clicking \button{More} and choosing the \button{Publish file} button \dash this is also shown in Figure \ref{ss:U1-webui-fileoptions}. After clicking the \button{Publish file} button, the Web UI will generate a \emph{Public URL}; you can share this URL with anyone. By directing a browser to the Public URL of the file, the browser should begin to download the file or it may display it, depending on what type of file it is.

You can make the file private again at any time by clicking the \button{Stop publishing} button located to the left of the Public URL. After you click the \button{Stop publishing} button the Public URL field will go away, and the URL will stop working. If someone tries to use a Public URL for a file that has been made private they will receive an error message and the file will not download or displayed.

U kunt het bestand ook op elk gewenst moment ook weer prive maken door op \button{Stop publishing} te klikken aan de linkerkant van het publieke URL. Nadat u op de \button{Stop publishing} knop heeft gedrukt zal het Publieke URL-veld verdwijnen, en het publieke URL zal stoppen met werken. Als iemand probeert om het publieke URL te gebruiken van een bestand dat prive gemaakt is zullen ze een foutmelding te zien krijgen en het bestand niet kunnen downloaden of weergegeven.
