MythArchive is a plugin for MythTV that lets you create DVDs from your recorded shows, MythVideo files and any video files available on your system. It can also archive recordings in a proprietary format that archives not only the file but also all the associated metadata like title, description and cut list information which will mean you can create backups of myth recordings which can later be restored or it will also allow you to move recordings between myth systems without losing any of the metadata. It is a complete rewrite of the old MythBurn bash scripts, now using python, and the mythfrontend UI plugin.

Mytharchive est un greffon pour MythTV qui vous permet de créer des DVD à partir de vos émissions enregistrées, de fichiers MythVideo et de toute vidéo disponible sur votre système. Il peut également archiver les enregistrements dans un format propriétaire qui archive non seulement le fichier, mais aussi toutes les métadonnées associées comme le titre, la description et des informations de liste de coupe, ce qui signifie que vous pouvez créer des sauvegardes d'enregistrements myth qui peuvent ensuite être restaurés et cela vous permettra également de déplacer des enregistrements entre les systèmes myth sans rien perdre des métadonnées. Il s'agit d'une réécriture complète des anciens scripts bash MythBurn, en utilisant désormais python, et le greffon d'interface mythfrontend.
