To enable external hosts to directly access services on virtual machines a <emphasis>bridge</emphasis> needs to be configured. This allows the virtual interfaces to connect to the outside network through the physical interface, making them appear as normal hosts to the rest of the network. For information on setting up a bridge see <xref linkend="bridging"/>.
Pour permettre à des machines distantes d'accéder directement aux services des machines virtuelles, un <emphasis>pont</emphasis> doit être configuré. Il permet aux interfaces virtuelles d'être connectées au réseau extérieur en passant par l'interface physique. Ce pont fait apparaître les machines virtuelles comme un hôte normal du réseau.
