Examples are as follows: <screen>mv foo bar</screen> will rename the file <filename>foo</filename> to <filename>bar</filename>. <screen>mv foo ~/Desktop</screen> will move the file <filename>foo</filename> to your <filename class="directory">Desktop</filename> directory but will not rename it.
