Unable to store a value at key '%s', as the configuration server has no writable databases. There are some common causes of this problem: 1) your configuration path file %s/path doesn't contain any databases or wasn't found 2) somehow we mistakenly created two gconfd processes 3) your operating system is misconfigured so NFS file locking doesn't work in your home directory or 4) your NFS client machine crashed and didn't properly notify the server on reboot that file locks should be dropped. If you have two gconfd processes (or had two at the time the second was launched), logging out, killing all copies of gconfd, and logging back in may help. If you have stale locks, remove ~/.gconf*/*lock. Perhaps the problem is that you attempted to use GConf from two machines at once, and ORBit still has its default configuration that prevents remote CORBA connections - put "ORBIIOPIPv4=1" in /etc/orbitrc. As always, check the user.* syslog for details on problems gconfd encountered. There can only be one gconfd per home directory, and it must own a lockfile in ~/.gconfd and also lockfiles in individual storage locations such as ~/.gconf

Nun se pue atroxar un valor na clave «%s», darréu que'l sirvidor de configuraciones nun tien nenguna base de datos en mou d'escritura. Hai dos causes comunes pa esti problema: 1) el so camín de configuración %s/path nun contién denguna base de datos o nun s'alcontró; ó 2) de dalguna miente creáronse erróneamente dos procesos gconfd; ó 3) el sistema ta mal configuráu y el bloquéu de NFS nun furrula nel so direutoriu raíz; ó 4) la máquina NFS veceru dexó de furrular y nun notificó correchamente al sirvidor al reaniciase que se tendríen de desaniciar los bloqueos d'ficheru. Si tien dos procesos gconfd (o tenía dos nel momentu nel que'l segundu se llanzó), pieslla, termina toles copies de gconfd, y torna a ingresar, esto pue iguar el problema. Si tienes bloqueos antiguos, desanicia ~/.gconf*/*lock. Seique'l problema tea en que intentasti usar GConf dende dos máquines al empar, y ORBit entá tien la configuración predeterminada que previén les conexones remotes de CORBA - define "ORBIIOPIPv4=1" en /etc/orbitrc. Como siempres, comprueba les bitácores user.* pa obtener más detalles sobre los problemes alcontraos por gconfd. Namái pue haber un gconfd por direutoriu raíz, y tien de tener un ficheru de bloquéu en ~/.gconfd y tamién ficheros de bloquéu nos sitios d'atroxu llocales como ~/.gconf
