If you have trouble seeing where the mouse pointer is on your screen, you can make it so that simply pressing the <key>Ctrl</key> key will locate your pointer. Once this is set up, pressing <key>Ctrl</key> will cause an animation to appear briefly at the location of your pointer.

You can have the computer make a "beep" sound when you start typing a keyboard shortcut with sticky keys turned on. This is useful if you want to know that sticky keys is expecting a keyboard shortcut to be typed, so the next key press will be interpreted as part of a shortcut.
