<h2>Standard groups</h2>
<p>Standard groups contain administrators and ordinary members. Administrators
manage the group, its membership and permission options. Ordinary members cannot
edit the group settings and membership, but they can usually post in the forums
as well as edit pages and files belonging to the group.</p>
<h2>Course groups</h2>
<p>Course groups contain tutors as well as administrators and ordinary members.
If the group allows members to submit pages to the group for assessment, tutors
and administrators can assess those submitted pages and provide feedback in
the form of comments to the authors.</p>

<h1>Display remote avatars</h1>
<p>If this option is enabled,
the <a href="https://www.gravatar.com">Gravatar</a> online service will be used to display profile pictures for people who don't have one set. This allows people to set their profile picture once on the Gravatar site instead of having to do it on every Mahara and online service individually. If Gravatar does not have a picture for that person, then the default Mahara picture will be shown.</p>
<h2>Reasons to turn it off</h2>
<p>This option requires both the <strong>person</strong> and the <strong>web server</strong> to have access to the Gravatar server (<code>https://gravatar.com</code>). In installations such as locked-down intranets, where such access is not available, enabling this option would simply add extra delays.</p>
<h2>Custom avatar server</h2>
<p>If you have a custom avatar server which implements the Gravatar
protocol, you may specify its base URL in your config.php file:</p>

<h1>Anti-spam</h1>
<p>There are three levels of anti-spam protection available for publicly
visible forms, such as the Contact us and Registration forms. A form
submission is never silently rejected. Rather, an error message is displayed asking the person to try again if the submission is classified as spam.</p>
<p><strong>None: </strong>No anti-spam checks will be performed on form submissions.</p>
<p><strong>Simple: </strong>Some basic checks are performed. Form submissions with email addresses that are not well-formed or that have an excessive number of URLs are rejected.</p>
<p><strong>Advanced: </strong>(Requires an internet connection). Performs additional checks to determine whether email addresses are real, or contained URLs that are prohibited.</p>

<h3>Anti-spam</h3>

<p>If you set a parent authority, people will be able to log in using that authority and log in via Moodle.</p>
<p>For example, you could set up LDAP and have that be the parent of this authentication method. That means that people will be able to log in via Mahara's built-in login form using their LDAP credentials, and they can also log in via Moodle and get into the same account.</p>
<p>You do not have to set a parent authority. If you do not, people will only be able to log in via Moodle.</p>

<p>Για να συνδέσετε περισσότερες από μια Ετικέτες σε ένα αντικείμενο ή σελίδα, διαχωρίστε τις με κόμμα. Για παράδειγμα 'Αξιολόγηση, Εξάμηνο Β, Διαχείριση'</p>
<p>Με κλικ πάνω στο <b>Εμφάνιση Ετικετών</b> θα δημιουργηθεί μια λίστα των Ετικετών που έχετε ήδη χρησιμοποιήσει στο χαρτοφυλάκιό σας και θα εμφανιστεί ο ο αριθμός που αυτές έχουν χρησιμοποιηθεί. Με κλικ πάνω σε μια υπάρχουσα ετικέτα αυτή θα προστεθεί στο αντικείμενο ή τη σελίδα που δημιουργείτε ή επεξεργάζεστε.</p>
<p>Χρησιμοποιώντας το <b>Αναζήτηση στο Χαρτοφυλάκιο</b> μπορείτε να εντοπίσετε όλα τα αντικείμενα και σελίδες που έχετε χαρακτηρίσει με μια ετικέτα, δημιουργώντας έτσι ένα σύστημα αρχειοθέτησης ή ευρετηρίου για το χαρτοφυλάκιό σας.</p>

<h1>Profile pictures</h1>
<p>
The profile pictures area allows you to upload pictures that will appear
beside your name in many places in the system.
</p>
<p>
You may have up to five pictures in your profile pictures area at once.
Pictures you upload must be at least 16x16 pixels and no greater than
1024x1024 pixels. The images you upload count towards your file quota.
</p>
<p>
Your default profile picture will be shown to other people beside your name
around the site, and you may use the other images in the pages you create.
</p>
<p>
<strong>Note:</strong> All of your profile pictures (not just the default one)
can be accessed by other logged-in people. Delete them if you do not want
others to see them.

<h3>Εικόνες προφίλ</h3>
<p>Η περιοχή εικόνων προφίλ σας επιτρέπει να φορτώσετε τις εικόνες που επιθυμείτε
να εμφανίζονται δίπλα από το όνομά σας σε πολλά μέρη του συστήματος.</p>
<p>Μπορείτε να έχετε μέχρι 5 εικόνες στην περιοχή των εικόνων προφίλ. Το μέγεθος των
εικόνων που φορτώνετε θα πρέπει να είναι μεγαλύτερες από 16x16 και μικρότερες
1024x1024 εικονοστοιχεία. Το μέγεθος των εικόνων που φορτώνετε συνυπολογίζεται
στο όριο δίσκου σας.</p>
<p>Η προκαθορισμένη εικόνα προφίλ θα εμφανίζεται στους άλλους χρήστες δίπλα από το
όνομά σας και μπορείτε να χρησιμοποιήσετε τις άλλες εικόνες στις σελίδες που δημιουργείτε.</p>

<h1>Resize large images on upload</h1>
<p>If enabled, any images which are larger than the height and width specified will be resized to fit the size limit.</p>
<p>This is highly recommended for images intended for normal display in a web browser. Very large images (e.g. straight from a digital camera) are slow to load in the browser and take up disk space unnecessarily, quickly using up your quota.
There is also no loss in quality when viewing on a typical monitor.</p>
<p>However, you may wish to upload the original <strong>without</strong> resizing if you are sharing an image for printing.</p>
<p>You can choose the default setting for this option on your Settings page.</p>

<h3>Αλλαγή μεγέθους εικόνων κατά τη φόρτωση</h3>
<p>Εάν ενεργοποιηθεί, κάθε εικόνα που έχει πλάτος ή και μήκος μεγαλύτερο από αυτό που έχει οριστεί, θα υπόκειται σε αλλαγή μεγέθους, προκειμένου αυτό να είναι εντός των ορίων.</p>
<p>Αυτό συνιστάται ιδιαίτερα για εικόνες που προορίζονται για κανονική προβολή σε έναν περιηγητή διαδικτύου. Οι πολύ μεγάλες εικόνες (π.χ. αυτές από μια ψηφιακή φωτογραφική μηχανή) χρειάζονται αρκετή ώρα για να εμφανιστούν και καταλαμβάνουν μεγάλο χώρο στον δίσκο, κάτι που σημαίνει ότι ο χώρος που δικαιούται ο χρήστης μειώνεται δραστικά. Δεν υπάρχει καμία ευδιάκριτη διαφορά στην ποιότητα όταν γίνεται προβολή των εικόνων σε μια τυπική οθόνη.</p>
<p>Ωστόσο, μπορεί να επιθυμείτε τη φόρτωση μιας εικόνας <strong>χωρίς</strong> αυτή να υποστεί αλλαγή μεγέθους, όταν πρόκειται να τη διαμοιράσετε προς εκτύπωση.</p>

<p>Although the email address given during registration is your primary contact address, you may have several email addresses listed on the site. Use any of your validated addresses in a profile.</p>
<p>To add new addresses, click <a onclick="email_new(); return false;" href="">Add email address</a>. When you save your profile, a message is sent to the new address. Click the link in the message to validate this email address.</p>
<p><strong>Note:</strong> The email link is only valid for 24 hours. After this, you must repeat the process.</p>
