<h1>Sync groups automatically via cron job</h1>
<p>Enable this setting to activate a task in the cron which will automatically create and/or update
groups and their membership based on records in the LDAP server. By default, this cron task will execute once
daily at midnight (server time). Edit the record in the "auth_cron" table or use the optional command-line scripts
supplied in htdocs/auth/ldap/cli/ if you wish to schedule it to run at other times or with other settings.</p>
<p><strong>Note:</strong> You'll also need to activate the "Sync groups stored as LDAP objects" and/or "Sync groups stored as
user attributes" settings in order for groups to be synced.</p>
<p>Group members can be removed as well as added by this setting. If a group is no longer found in the LDAP
records, all of its members will be removed from the group.</p>
<p>This setting will have no effect if the cron is not running. See the
<a href="https://git.mahara.org/catalyst/mahara/-/wikis/System-administration/Installing-Mahara">installation guide</a> for
instructions on how to set it up.</p>

<h1>Synchronisierung von Gruppen via Cronjob</h1>
<p>Aktiviere die Einstellung, um eine Aufgabe im Cron auszuführen, die Gruppen und die Mitgliedschaft aus LDAP anlegt bzw. aktualiisiert. In der Default-Einstellung wird der Cron täglich nach Mitternacht (Serverzeit) ausgeführt. Der Eintrag wird in der Tabelle "auth_cron" oder über Commandline Skripte ausgeführt. Hier kannst du den Zeitpunkt anpassen. Diese befinden sich unter htdocs/auth/ldap/cli/. </p>
<p><b>Note:</b> Sie müssen zusätzlich "Sync groups stored as LDAP objects" und/oder "Sync groups stored as
user attributes" Einstellungen für die Gruppensynchronisierung aktivieren.</p>
<p>Gruppenmitglieder können mit der Einstellung entfernt oder hinzugefügt werden. Wenn eine Gruppe im LDAP nicht mehr gefunden wird, werden die Mitglieder in Mahara aus der Gruppe entfernt. </p>
<p>Die Einstellung hat keine Wirkung wenn derCron nicht ausgeführt wird. Siehe hierzu Hinweise im

<h1>Languages</h1>
<p>This page lists the languages that are installed and when they were last
updated through this interface. If you update a language via CLI or add a language pack directly to
your server, the updated date will not be correct.</p>
<p>You can choose to install new languages by selecting them from the drop-down
menu. The translation available for your version of Mahara is automatically selected.</p>
<p>As translations are maintained by the community, not all languages will be
fully translated. You are welcome to <a href="https://git.mahara.org/catalyst/mahara/-/wikis/Translations/Language-packs">join the translation team</a> to correct
phrases and translate those for which there is no translation yet.</p>
<p>When updates have been made to a translation in Launchpad, it usually takes
up to 24 hours for the changes to be present in a language's 'language pack'.
Refer to our
<a href="https://langpacks.mahara.org/">language pack site</a>.</p>
<p>If a translation cannot be installed, you will see an error message. Please
remove the language manually from your server in the location mentioned in
the error message.</p>
<p>If the installation of a language fails without an error message, this may
be due to cached information. Please clear the cache at 'Administration menu
→ Admin home → Overview' and try again.</p>
<p>If you want to delete a language, please do so directly on the server. You
cannot remove a language from this interface.</p>
