The STEALTH program performs File Integrity Checks on (remote) clients. It differs from other File Integrity Checkers by not requiring baseline integrity data to be kept on either write-only media or in the client's file system. In fact, clients will hardly contain any indication suggesting that they are being monitored, thus improving the stealthiness of the integrity scans.

Le programme STEALTH réalise des vérifications d’intégrité de fichiers sur des clients (distants). Il diffère des autres vérificateurs car il ne requiert pas de données d’intégrités de comparaison à conserver soit sur un média en écriture seule ou sur le système de fichiers du client. En fait, les clients ne contiendront quasiment aucune indication suggérant qu’ils sont suivis, du coup améliorant la furtivité des sondages d’intégrité.
