It lets you store patches and other simple customization templates in debian/patches and otherwise does not require much reorganization of your source tree. To get the patches applied at build time you simply need to include a makefile snippet and then depend on the patch/unpatch target in the build or clean stage of debian/rules - or you can use the dpatch patching script directly.

Permette di archiviare patch ed altri semplici modelli di personalizzazione in debian/patches e oltre a ciò non richiede molta riorganizzazione dell'albero dei sorgenti. Per applicare le patch al momento della compilazione si deve semplicemente includere un frammento di makefile e poi affidarsi al target patch/unpatch nello stadio build o clean di debian/rules; in alternativa si può usare lo script di applicazione patch dpatch direttamente.
