<trademark>Kubuntu</trademark> comes with the <application>Dragon Player</application> video player installed by default. It is a simple and light-weight video player that can play almost any video file, provided the necessary codecs are installed. For video editing, the preferred choice is <application>Kino</application>— a non-linear video editor. <application>Kino</application> is not installed by default in <trademark>Kubuntu</trademark>, but can be easily installed from the <trademark>Kubuntu</trademark> Software Center: (<application>Muon</application>), which can be started by choosing <menuchoice><guimenu>K menu</guimenu><guisubmenu>Computer</guisubmenu><guimenuitem>Muon Software Center</guimenuitem></menuchoice>.
