Use the slider to select the amount of storage space. The other option, <guibutton>Discarded on shutdown, unless you save them elsewhere</guibutton>, will not store data on the device. Use this selection if the <acronym>USB</acronym> flash drive is only for installing the <phrase>Kubuntu</phrase> desktop.
