Some hardware does not have free drivers, usually because the hardware manufacturer has not released details of their hardware which would make it possible to create such a driver for a Linux system. If such a manufacturer has not created Linux drivers, the hardware may have limited functionality or may not work at all.
Einige Geräte besitzen keine freien Geräte-Treiber. Der Grund dafür ist in der Regel, dass deren Hardware-Hersteller zu wenige Details über die Funktionsweise des Produktes für Linux zur Verfügung gestellt hat. Wenn ein solcher Hersteller nicht eigene Linux-Treiber zur Verfügung stellt, kann es sein, dass das Gerät nur eingeschränkt funktioniert oder sogar gar nicht arbeiten will.
