There are many free and open source graphics and image editing applications available for <phrase>Kubuntu</phrase> such as <application>GIMP</application>, <application>Blender</application>, <application>InkScape</application>, and more. These applications are not part of a default <phrase>Kubuntu</phrase> installation.
