When installing <phrase>Kubuntu</phrase> via a <acronym>DVDROM</acronym>, all of the <acronym>KDE</acronym> games are installed. When installing <phrase>Kubuntu</phrase> from a <acronym>CDROM</acronym>, however, no <acronym>KDE</acronym> games are installed, due to the lack of available space on the <acronym>CDROM</acronym>. There are, however, applications available which allow playing some <trademark>Windows</trademark>-based games. <trademark>Cedega</trademark> (listed below) is popular among gamers, although it isn't a free service. <trademark>PlayOnLinux</trademark> (listed below) is another popular application which is free of charge. <trademark>Wine</trademark> (listed below) is a more advanced application. For gaming, both <trademark>Cedega</trademark> and <trademark>PlayOnLinux</trademark> are recommended over <trademark>Wine</trademark>.
