<phrase>Kubuntu</phrase> ships with the <application>Microblogging Plasma Widget</application> which supports both Twitter and Identi.ca which is enabled by default. If you have removed this widget and would like to add the desktop widget back, simply <mousebutton>right</mousebutton> click on the desktop, and select <guimenuitem>Add Widgets...</guimenuitem>. Simply click and drag the widget to the desktop and configure it for either Twitter or Identi.ca.
