This is the PPP configuration utility. It does not connect to your isp: just configures ppp so that you can do so with a utility such as pon. It will ask for the username, password, and phone number that your ISP gave you. If your ISP uses PAP or CHAP, that is all you need. If you must use a chat script, you will need to know how your ISP prompts for your username and password. If you do not know what your ISP uses, try PAP. Use the up and down arrow keys to move around the menus. Hit ENTER to select an item. Use the TAB key to move from the menu to <OK> to <CANCEL> and back. To move on to the next menu go to <OK> and hit ENTER. To go back to the previous menu go to <CANCEL> and hit enter.

Questa è solo l'utilità di configurazione di PPP. Non si connette al fornitore di accesso Internet ma configura solamente ppp così che ci si possa collegare con un programma come pon. Verrà richiesto di inserire il nome utente, la password e il numero che il fornitore di accesso Internet (ISP) ha rilasciato. Se l'ISP usa PAP o CHAP è tutto ciò che serve. Se si deve usare uno script di connessione sarà necessario richiedere all'ISP come richiede il nome utente e la password; se non si conosce cosa viene usato dall'ISP provare con PAP. Usare i tasti freccia su e giù per muoversi nei menù e premere INVIO per selezionare una voce. Usare il tasto TAB per muoversi dal menù a <OK>, <ANNULLA> e ritorno. Per passare al menù successivo andare su <OK> e premere INVIO e per tornare al menù precedente andare su <ANNULLA> e premere INVIO.
