If auto-detection does not work, launch <application>digiKam</application> by going to <menuchoice><guimenu>Kickoff Application Launcher</guimenu><guisubmenu>Applications</guisubmenu><guisubmenu>Graphics</guisubmenu><guimenuitem>Photo Management</guimenuitem></menuchoice>. Then select <menuchoice><guimenu>Camera</guimenu><guimenuitem>Add Camera...</guimenuitem></menuchoice> and follow the instructions to add your camera. Once your camera has been setup, you can download pictures from the camera by going to <menuchoice><guimenu>Camera</guimenu><guimenuitem>Your camera</guimenuitem></menuchoice>.
