Alle Daten werden direkt in das Hauptdateisystem übertragen, bevor die entsprechenden Metadaten im Journal gespeichert werden.
<h3><b>Zurückschreiben</b></h3>
Die Datenreihenfolge wird nicht beibehalten - die Daten können in das Hauptdateisystem übertragen werden, nachdem die entsprechenden Metadaten im Journal gespeichert werden. Bei dieser Option ist der Durchsatz angeblich am höchsten. Die Integrität des internen Dateisystems ist hierbei garantiert, nach einem Systemabsturz und einer Journalwiederherstellung können in den Dateien allerdings veraltete Daten auftauchen.
