To avoid problems it is strongly recommended to install the kernel into a partition which fits entirely within the first GB of the disk (by creating a small /boot partition in the beginning of the disk, for example). In the current partitioning scheme it is going to be installed onto the ${SILO_PART} partition which extends up to ${SILO_OFF} mark. Keeping this configuration may result in an unbootable system.

Pour éviter ces problèmes, il est fortement recommandé d'installer le noyau sur une partition entièrement située dans le premier gigaoctet du disque dur (par exemple en créant une petite partition /boot au début du disque). Dans le schéma actuel de partitionnement, le noyau sera installé sur la partition ${SILO_PART} qui s'étend jusqu'à ${SILO_OFF}. Si vous conservez cette configuration, le système risque de ne pas pouvoir démarrer.
