Most USB digital cameras will be automatically detected by Ubuntu. Simply plug in and switch on your USB digital camera, Ubuntu will then ask you if you would like to import the photos from your camera. Click on <guibutton>Import</guibutton>, Ubuntu will then show you a preview of your photos. Choose a location to save your photos to, then click on <guibutton>Import</guibutton>, Ubuntu will then save your photos to your hard drive.

Verbinden Sie die Digitalkamera einfach mit Ihrem Pc und schalten Sie sie ein, Ubuntu wird Sie dann fragen ob Sie Ihre Photos von der Kamera importieren möchten. Wenn Sie dann auf guibutton>Importieren</guibutton> klicken, wird Ubuntu Ihnen eine Vorschau Ihrer Photos zeigen. Legen Sie anschließend einen Speicherort für ihre Photos fest und klicken sie wiederum auf <guibutton>Importieren</guibutton>. Ubuntu wird ihre Photos dann im gewählten Verzeichnis speichern.
