Uten dette valget, antas de nødvendige pakkene og feilsøkingssymbolene å være installert i systemet allerede. Argumentet peker til pakkesystemets grunnmappe. Hvis du spesifiserer «system», blir systemets konfigurasjonsfiler brukt, men da vil du bare kunne spore en kræsj hvis den oppstod på utgivelsen som kjører nå.
