to specify the line spacing on windows.
In fact usually the win ascent/descent fields do.
(The descent field is usually negative.)
If the "[] Is Offset" checkbox is clear then
any number you enter will be the value used in OS/2.
If set then any number you enter will be added to the
Em-size. You should leave this
field 0 and check "[*] Is Offset" in most cases.

NOTE: Typo Descent is a NEGATIVE number for
things below the baseline
