You can now start editing an existing audio file in Audacity. To do so, you need to first import the audio file into Audacity. To import an audio file, on the <emphasis role="strong">File</emphasis> menu, point to <emphasis role="strong">Import</emphasis> and then select <emphasis role="strong">Audio</emphasis>. The <emphasis role="strong">Select one or more audio files</emphasis> dialogue box opens.
