debootstrap is used to create a Debian base system from scratch, without requiring the availability of dpkg or apt. It does this by downloading .deb files from a mirror site, and carefully unpacking them into a directory which can eventually be chrooted into.
 
Description
debootstrap permet de créer un système Debian de base à partir de zéro sans avoir nécessairement dpkg ou apt. Pour ce faire, il télécharge les fichiers «[nbsp].deb[nbsp]» nécessaires depuis un miroir et les décompresse dans un répertoire sur lequel on peut finalement positionner la racine («[nbsp]chroot[nbsp]»).
