The vmmouse driver is capable of falling back to the standard "mouse" driver if a VMware virtual machine is not detected. This allows for dual-booting of an operating system from a virtual machine to real hardware without having to edit xorg.conf every time.

Le pilote «[nbsp]vmmouse[nbsp]» est capable de revenir sur le pilote standard «[nbsp]mouse[nbsp]» si une machine virtuelle VMWare n'est pas détectée. Cela permet un démarrage dual (dual boot) d'un système d'exploitation depuis une machine virtuelle vers une machine hardware réelle sans avoir à modifier le fichier «[nbsp]xorg.conf[nbsp]» à chaque fois.
