Ezstream is an audio and video streaming client which feeds any icecast server with audio data and metadata from a standard input without reencoding. It thus requires very little CPU resources. Some playlists can be looped and composed with MP3, Ogg Vorbis or Ogg Theora media files. Shoutcast metadata are also supported.

Ezstream est un client pour des diffusions de flux audio et vidéo qui peut alimenter n’importe quel serveur Icecast avec des données audio et des métadonnées à partir d’une entrée standard sans réencodage. Il nécessite donc très peu de ressources de CPU. Quelques listes de lecture peuvent être mises en boucle et composées de fichiers MP3, Ogg Vorbis ou de média Ogg Theora. Les métadonnées de SHOUTcast sont aussi gérées.
