<phrase>Kubuntu</phrase> comes with a video player installed by default called <application>Dragon Player</application>. It is a simple and light-weight video player that can play almost any video file (provided the necessary codecs are installed). For video editing, the preferred choice is <application>Kino</application>&mdash; a non-linear video editor. <application>Kino</application> is not installed by default in <phrase>Kubuntu</phrase>, but can be easily installed from the <phrase>Kubuntu</phrase> Software Center: (<application>Muon</application>), which can be started by choosing <menuchoice><guimenu>Kickoff Application Launcher</guimenu><guisubmenu>Computer</guisubmenu><guimenuitem>Muon Software Center</guimenuitem></menuchoice>.
