Adding additional <emphasis>schemas</emphasis> to <application>slapd</application> requires the schema to be converted to LDIF format. The <filename role="directory">/etc/ldap/schema</filename> directory contains some schema files already converted to LDIF format as demonstrated in the previous section. Fortunately, the <application>slapd</application> program can be used to automate the conversion. The following example will add the <emphasis>dyngoup.schema</emphasis>:
