OldWorld PowerMacs will not boot a Debian CD, because OldWorld computers relied on a Mac OS ROM CD boot driver to be present on the CD, and a free-software version of this driver is not available. All OldWorld systems have floppy drives, so use the floppy drive to launch the installer, and then point the installer to the CD for the needed files.

Las PowerMacs OldWorld no iniciarán un CD de Debian, porque dichas computadoras dependian de un manejador de arranque de CD Mac OS ROM que estuviese presente en el CD, y una versión libre de este manejador no está disponible. Todos los sistemas OldWorld tienen unidad de disco flexible, use esta unidad para arrancar el instalador y despues apunte el instalador hacia el CD para los archivos necesarios.
