It is the place for your ip number if and only if your ISP has assigned you a static one. If you have been given only a local static ip, enter it with a colon at the end, like this: 192.168.1.2: If you have been given both a local and a remote ip, enter the local ip, a colon, and the remote ip, like this: 192.168.1.2:10.203.1.2
