Once you drop a transition on the timeline, it can be moved and resized just like any other clip. [nbsp]The transition snaps between tracks, and blends between the 2 tracks. [nbsp]If snapping is enabled, the transition will automatically resize itself to perfectly fit between 2 clips, and also [nbsp]automatically set the direction of the transition.

To add a transition, switch to the <guibutton>Transition Tab</guibutton>, and select a transition by clicking on it. [nbsp]Drag and drop the transition onto the <guibutton>timeline</guibutton>. [nbsp]It will snap between 2 tracks and automatically resize itself, if dropped where 2 clips overlap.
