<p>If your site has a lot of people and uses a PostgreSQL database,
people searches will be faster with exact people searching enabled.
The setting will still work with MySQL databases, but is unlikely
to significantly increase search performance.</p>
<p>However, partial matches on profile fields will not return results,
so if for example you have a person called "Nigel", then typing "Nige"
into the search box will not find that person.</p>

<p>Most of the time, this setting should be left blank.</p>
<p>If this setting is populated, then Mahara will load new index data into the Elasticsearch index of this name while still retrieving search results from the Elasticsearch index stored under the "Index name" field.</p>
<p>If you want to reindex the whole site in a new index, but don't want to bring your current search capability down until reindexing finishes, you can use this field to point the reindexing cron at a new index, while the search functionality continues to use the old index.</p>
<p>Once the queue is empty, copy this index's name to the <code>$cfg->plugin_search_elasticsearch_indexname</code> variable in your config.php.</p>

<h1>Export your portfolio</h1>
<p>You can export your portfolio to keep your files and content offline. You can create an export at any time and as often as you wish. When you export you will recive a zip file containing the following:</p>
<p><strong>Standalone HTML website:</strong> Files containing a website with your portfolio data are created. You cannot import this into Mahara or another portfolio system again, but it is readable in a standard web browser and you do not need Mahara in order to view it. To view, extract the zip file and click on the index.html file that is in the HTML folder.</p>
<p><strong>Leap2A:</strong> A file containing a folder in the Leap2A standard format is created. You can then import this into another Leap2A-compliant system.

<p>If you have forgotten your username or password, the site can send you a message telling you your username. It also provides you with a link where you can reset your password. Enter your username or primary email address in the box and click "Send request". You will receive an email automatically. To change your password, follow the link in the email to confirm your reset request.</p>
<p><strong>Warning:</strong> If you receive a password change email that you have not requested, it may be fraudulent. Do not click any links in such emails.</p>

<h3>Passworterinnerung</h3>
<p>Wenndas Passwort vergessen wurde, kann die Mahara Plattform eine E-Mail mit dem Nutzernamen verschicken und einen Link zusenden, um das Passwort zurückzusetzen. Gib in der Eingabemaske den Nutzernamen oder die E-Mail-Adresse ein und klicke auf 'Anforderung abschicken'. Automatisch wird eine E-Mail verschickt. Zum Ändern des Passworts einfach auf den Link in der E-Mail klicken und die Passwortänderung einleiten.</p>
<p><strong>Achtung:</strong> Wenn keine Passwortänderung angefordert wurde, handelt es sich vielleicht um eine Spam-E-Mail. Diese kann einfach ignoriert werden.</p>

<h1>Import a portfolio</h1>
<p>You can import your (or any valid Leap2A) portfolio from another Mahara site yourself.</p>
<p>During the import process, you will be asked what you want to do with content that is in your import file. You can decide whether you want to add it to your account or whether you want to ignore it.</p>
<p>You can only import a Leap2A file, but not an HTML file. If you want to import content from another Mahara site, go there and export your portfolio as Leap2A file. You do not have to export your entire portfolio, but you can choose which pages or collections and thus the artefacts contained on them you wish to export.</p>

This will contain a clickable link – follow this to confirm your account and log in to the system. If you do not receive this email within 24 hours, please check your email junk filter. If you have any problems registering, please contact the site administrator.</p>
<p><strong>Note:</strong> The email link is only valid for 24 hours. After this you must repeat the process.</p>
<p>You will then be prompted to complete any mandatory profile fields and have the opportunity to upload a profile picture. Once registered, you will need to enter your username and password in order to log in to your portfolio.</p>

<p>Staff access allows a person to create controlled groups.</p>
<p>To assign staff access, select one or more persons from the list of "Potential staff" and use the right-arrow button to move them to the "Current staff" list. To remove staff access, select a person from the "Current staff" list and using the left-arrow button move them back to the "Potential staff" list.</p>
<p> Where there are more than 250 accounts on the site, you will need to search for a specific person using the search box. You can also select multiple people at once using "Ctrl + Shift" select and click.</p>

<h3>Mitarbeiter/innen</h3>
<p>Der Mitarbeiter/innenzugriff erlaubt einem/einer Nutzer/in kontrollierte Gruppen anzulegen, eingereichte Seiten zu empfangen und freizugeben und den Zugriff auf die wichtigsten Profilinformationen der Nutzer/innen (voller Name, Student ID, Anzeigename).</p>
<p>Du gewährst einem/einer Nutzer/in Mitarbeiterzugriff, indem der Name aus der Liste der möglichen Mitarbeiter/innen ausgewählt und mit der rechten Pfeiltaste in die aktuelle Mitarbeiter/innenliste verschieben. Du entziehst den Mitarbeiterzugriff, indem du den Namen aus der Liste der aktuellen Mitarbeiter/innen auswählst und mit der linken Pfeiltaste in die Liste der möglichen Mitarbeiter/innen verschieben.</p>
<p> Wenn die Site mehr als 100 Nutzer/innen hat, kann über die Suchbox nach den gewünschten Nutzer/innen gesucht werden. Du kannst auch mehrere Nutzer/innen gleichzeitig bearbeiten, indem du mit Ctrl und Shift auswählst und dann klickst.</p>

<h1>Profile pictures</h1>
<p>
The profile pictures area allows you to upload pictures that will appear
beside your name in many places in the system.
</p>
<p>
You may have up to five pictures in your profile pictures area at once.
Pictures you upload must be at least 16x16 pixels and no greater than
1024x1024 pixels. The images you upload count towards your file quota.
</p>
<p>
Your default profile picture will be shown to other people beside your name
around the site, and you may use the other images in the pages you create.
</p>
<p>
<strong>Note:</strong> All of your profile pictures (not just the default one)
can be accessed by other logged-in people. Delete them if you do not want
others to see them.

Im Profilbildbereich können maximal 5 Bilder gleichzeitig abgespeichert werden. Die hochgeladenen Bilder
müssen mindestens 16x16 Pixel groß sein und dürfen nicht größer als 1024x1024 Pixel sein.
Die hochgeladenen Bilder werden auf den verfügbaren Speicherplatz angerechnet.

Das Standardbild erscheint neben dem eigenen Namen auf der Site. Die anderen Bilder können in den selbst erstellten Seiten genutzt werden.

All email addresses that a person has in the profile under "Contact information" are displayed. The first email address is the primary email address. It is used to send notifications to the person. Additional email addresses are displayed in parentheses.

When you enable the option "Filter by duplicate email addresses", you will see any duplicate email addresses. If a person has more than one email address, those that are duplicates are marked with an asterisk (*).
