Windows-based games do not operate natively in <phrase>Kubuntu</phrase>. However there are applications available that allow playing some Windows-based games. Cedega (listed below) is popular among gamers, though it isn't a free service. PlayOnLinux (listed below) is another popular application which is free of charge. Wine (listed below) is a more advanced application. For gaming, both Cedega and PlayOnLinux are recommended over Wine.
