Out-dated, use dLCMS Learning Unit inside a dLCMS Repository
instead! A dLCMS Lesson is used to assemble content elements to
larger learning units. Using lesson objects as root nodes and by
the help of dLCMS Lesson Elements as sub-nodes hierarchical
chapter-like structures can be defined. Each node of this structure
is associated with a content element through reference. Lessons can
be exported as content packages in standard formats such as IMS
Content Packaging or SCORM. Indexes and glossaries (using the Silva
Glossary product) can be added to lessons.

The dLCMS Repository is used to store learning content, such as
learning units, content elements, assets, etc. The functionalities
of a dLCMS Repository are similar to those of a Silva Publication.
Special learning metadata specified here will be used as default for
all content elements the repository contains.

A Content Reference allows the reuse of a content
element already defined in another location (like an alias, symbolic
link, shortcut). A content reference is defined by a link to the
content element to be used. It is not a copy of the original
content. Unlike Silva Ghosts, content references are not versioned.

This folder-like object is used to structure the repository into
different topics. It is much like a Silva Folder and can be used to
specify metadata centrally that will be used as a default for all
content elements contained in the dLCMS Subject.
