dLCMS Content Elements represent the basic building blocks that
can be flexibly combined to be reused in different educational
contexts. They will be assembled to larger learning units through
dLCMS Lessons. For a maximum of reusability content elements should
be small, modular, self-contained (or self-standing, i.e. they have
no reference to other content elements such as links or linguistic
references, but they may have prerequisites to the learner's
knowledge), and should represent a single didactic content type,
such as a definition, an example, an exercise, etc.
