This package contains the core components of GNOME Accessibility.

The `autopoint' program copies standard gettext infrastructure files into a source package. It extracts from a macro call of the form `AM_GNU_GETTEXT_VERSION(VERSION)', found in the package's `configure.in' or `configure.ac' file, the gettext version used by the package, and copies the infrastructure files belonging to this version into the package.

This program is a simple filter that reads the output of the 'diff' program, and produces a histogram of the total number of lines that were changed. It is useful for scanning a patch file to see which files were changed.

Help i18n of RFC822 compliant config files

Intltool is a bunch of scripts written by the GNOME project to internationalize many different file formats. This package is a slightly modified version which adds support for RFC822 compliant config files, e.g. Debconf templates files.

Debian Configuration Management System (C-implementation library)

Debconf is a configuration management system for Debian packages. It is used by some packages to prompt you for information before they are installed. cdebconf is a reimplementation of the original debconf in C.

This library allows C programs to interface with cdebconf.

library to read and write ELF files

The libelf1 package provides a shared library which allows reading and writing ELF files on a high level. Third party programs depend on this package to read internals of ELF files. The programs of the elfutils package use it also to generate new ELF files.

This library is part of elfutils.

Fontconfig is a font configuration and customization library, which does not depend on the X Window System. It is designed to locate fonts within the system and select them according to requirements specified by applications.

GLib library of C routines

GLib is a library containing many useful C routines for things such as trees, hashes, lists, and strings. It is a useful general-purpose C library used by projects such as GTK+, GIMP, and GNOME.

Multiprecision arithmetic library

GNU MP is a programmer's library for arbitrary precision arithmetic (ie, a bignum package). It can operate on signed integer, rational, and floating point numeric types.

Libidn2 implements the revised algorithm for internationalized domain names called IDNA2008/TR46.

X.509 and CMS support library

KSBA (pronounced Kasbah) is a library to make X.509 certificates as well as the CMS easily accessible by other applications. Both specifications are building blocks of S/MIME and TLS.

KSBA provides these subsystems: ASN.1 Parser, BER Decoder, BER Encoder, Certificate Handling and CMS Handling.

Fast LZ compression algorithm library - runtime

This package includes the shared library.

LZ4 is a very fast lossless compression algorithm, providing compression speed at 400 MB/s per core, scalable with multi-cores CPU. It also features an extremely fast decoder, with speed in multiple GB/s per core, typically reaching RAM speed limits on multi-core systems.

This is an implementation of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol version 2 in C. The framing layer of HTTP/2 is implemented as a reusable C library.

replacement for GNU Pth using system threads

nPth is a non-preemptive threads implementation using an API very similar to the one known from GNU Pth. It has been designed as a replacement of GNU Pth for non-ancient operating systems. In contrast to GNU Pth it is based on the system's standard threads implementation. Thus nPth allows the use of libraries which are not compatible to GNU Pth.
