Connect a USB audio device to your system. Then open the volume control application by left-clicking on the speaker icon in the panel and selecting "Sound Preferences". Select the "Input" tab and choose your USB device. Select the "Output" tab and choose your USB device. When you are done, select Test, then speak into the microphone. After a few seconds, your speech will be played back to you.

Verbind een usb-audioapparaat met uw systeem. Open daarna de geluidsvoorkeurentoepassing door links op het luidsprekerpictogram in het paneel te klikken. Ga daarna naar ‘Geluidsvoorkeuren…’, ga naar het ‘Invoer’-tabblad en kies uw usb-apparaat. Ga daarna naar het ‘Uitvoer’-tabblad en kies uw usb-apparaat. Klik als u klaar bent op ‘Test’ en spreek duidelijk in de microfoon. Na enkele seconden zal uw ingesproken tekst worden afgespeeld.
